The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Callahan County in west central Texas...
  Shackelford County in west central Texas...

* Until 945 PM CST

* At 650 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen...
  with additional rainfall expected over the next couple hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Clyde, Albany, Baird, Eula, Fort Griffin, Oplin, Admiral, Us-
  283 Near The Callahan-
  Shackelford County Line, McCarty Lake, The Intersection Of US-
  283 And Highway 36 and Us-283 Near The Coleman-
  Callahan County Line.

This includes the following low water crossings ...
    I-20 Frontage Roads near Putnam...Clyde... and Baird...
    Low water crossings along the North Prong Pecan Bayou...
    Low water crossings along County Road 129...
    County Road 122 crossing Indian Creek...
    Low water crossings along County Road 117...
    Low water crossings along County Road 248 and
    County Road 190 crossing Jenkins Creek.
Do not drive through these low water crossings or any other
low water crossing with water flowing across the roadway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
