FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
235 PM CDT TUE JUN 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...

AN UPPER LOW CURRENTLY LOCATED OVER WESTERN TENNESSEE AND CAROLINAS
WILL CONTINUE TO BRING IMPACTS ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA OVER THE NEXT
FEW DAYS.

FOR TONIGHT, ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER NORTHEAST
ALABAMA (CLOSER TO THE UPPER LOW) ALONG WITH FOG FORMATION LIKELY
TONIGHT ESPECIALLY OVER NORTHEAST ALABAMA WHERE LOW CLOUD HEIGHTS
WILL BE CLOSE TO HIGHER ELEVATION HEIGHTS.

DAILY ISOLATED TO SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY AND AGAIN ON THURSDAY, ESPECIALLY OVER NORTHEAST ALABAMA.
GENERALLY POOR DISPERSION WILL PREVAIL ON BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
GIVEN THE WEAK SURFACE FLOW AND FLOW ALOFT.

THE UPPER LOW FINALLY MOVES OFF TO THE EAST ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON
INTO FRIDAY GIVING WAY TO WARMER CONDITIONS AND MORE SUMMER LIKE
AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY BY THE END OF THE WEEK.
