VERMONT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

ACTIVE WEATHER IS EXPECTED CHRISTMAS EVE INTO CHRISTMAS DAY. A
STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE OHIO VALLEY WILL BRING
WIDESPREAD RAIN TO THE AREA ON CHRISTMAS EVE THROUGH CHRISTMAS DAY
MORNING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY BE IN THE 1 TO 2 INCH RANGE DURING
THIS TIME PERIOD AND COMBINED WITH SNOWMELT...NOTICEABLE RISES ON
RIVERS ARE EXPECTED WHICH COULD LEAD TO SOME MINOR FLOODING. IN
ADDITION...GUSTY SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN
COULD CAUSE POWER OUTAGES. COLDER AIR MOVES IN CHRISTMAS DAY FOR
SOME SNOW SHOWERS...ESPECIALLY IN THE MOUNTAINS.
