This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

Hot temperatures and more humid conditions will combine to produce
elevated Heat Index values today. We can expect afternoon Heat
Index values of 108 to 114 across the Rio Grande Plains, 106 to
113 across South Central Texas, and 100 to 105 in the Hill
Country. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Rio Grande Plains
and South Central Texas from 1 PM to 8 PM.

Elevated fire weather conditions are also expected over the
Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande Plains. Afternoon humidities in
the 20s and southeasterly winds of 10 to 15 mph are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday
through Tuesday. There are slight chances of locally heavy rains.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
