This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Snow showers and flurries combined with some drifting of snow due
to gusty north winds will result in scattered slippery spots on
the roads overnight. Lake-effect snow showers may bring an inch
or two of accumulation to parts of Vilas County tonight.

A Wind Advisory has been posted for Door County tonight into
Tuesday morning. Wind gusts around 45 mph are anticipated,
especially over the northern part of the county.

Wind chills are expected to fall into the single digits below zero
at most locations tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Monday

Lake-effect snow showers will continue in parts of Vilas County on
Tuesday, but less than an inch of additional snowfall is expected.
Subzero wind chills are forecast to persist at least through Tuesday

Hazardous travel conditions are possible Wednesday into Wednesday
night as a clipper type system moves southeastward out of central
Canada. There is uncertainty as to this clipper`s track, with
potential accumulations ranging from a dusting to a couple of
inches. Cold northwest wind behind the system should generate more
lake-effect snow showers for north-central Wisconsin. It is too
early to determine lake effect snow totals at this time.

Spotters are requested to report peak wind gusts and snowfall
totals to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
