This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong southerly winds will drive the grassland fire danger index
into the very high category across central and portions of south
central Kansas this afternoon. A wind advisory is also in effect
for much of the area through the evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Severe thunderstorms are likely Saturday afternoon and evening
along a southward moving cold front. The primary threats will be
damaging winds of 60-70 mph, quarter to golf ball sized hail and
locally heavy rain. Flooding of typical flood-prone areas may also be
