This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Breezy southwest winds will combine with relative humidities below
30 percent resulting in a very high fire danger across much of the
area this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A very high grassland fire danger is possible across the area on
Thursday and friday afternoons.

There is a chance of showers and an isolated embedded thunderstorm
across much of Eastern Kansas. Monday it will be cold enough for
some light snow in the Central Kansas but do not expect much if any
accumulations. Tuesday, the winds will pick up again bringing the
Grassland Fire Danger Index into very high category once again.


Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
