SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA
AND ADJACENT WATERS...WITH MOST OF THE ACTIVITY CONCENTRATED
ACROSS THE INTERIOR PENINSULA. THE GREATEST COVERAGE OF SHOWERS
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IS ACROSS INTERIOR COLLIER COUNTY WITH
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY IN MAINLAND MONROE AND HENDRY COUNTIES. ONLY
ISOLATED SHOWERS ARE CURRENTLY AFFECTING THE ATLANTIC COAST METRO
AREAS. IN GENERAL THESE SHOWERS WILL MOVE SLOWLY WEST AND PRODUCE
BRIEF AND AT TIMES HEAVY SHOWERS WITH OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING WITH
THE STRONGER STORMS. RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS COULD BE NEAR TWO
INCHES WITH THE HEAVIEST OF THE SHOWERS.
