Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A large area of showers and thunderstorms moved across the region
during the afternoon and early evening hours. Copious rainfall from
these storms caused some flooding mainly over northeast Iowa and far
southwest Wisconsin. Afternoon high temperatures were generally in
the 70s region wide.

The rain will move out of much of the area by Saturday morning,
though a few showers could be lingering east of the Mississippi
River. High temperatures Saturday will be in the 80s and the 70s
to lower 80s on Sunday.
