Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Southerly winds on the backside of a high pressure system over the
Ohio River Valley brought unseasonably warm temperatures into the
region today. Afternoon temperatures ranged from the lower to
middle 70s across northwest the lower 90s across
southern Wisconsin and much of Iowa.

Mostly clear skies can be expected tonight across the
the high pressure system remains in control. Low temperatures will
fall into the middle to upper 60s.

Southerly winds out ahead of a cold front over central Minnesota
and western Iowa will continue to usher in unseasonably warm
temperatures across the region. High temperatures are expected to
rise into the middle 80s to lower 90s.
