Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

This morning, skies ranged from partly cloudy across northern
Wisconsin to sunny elsewhere. Low temperatures last night were in
the mid 20s to mid 30s. By sunrise, temperatures had already risen
into the 40s. Mid-morning readings were in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

Near record warmth is expected this afternoon as high temperatures
climb into the mid 50s to lower 60s. A cold front will move through
the region later this afternoon, bringing a slight chance of rain to
areas north of Interstate 90. Low temperatures tonight will fall
back into the upper 20s to mid 30s.

Dry and mild weather is expected for the next several days. Saturday
will be a bit cooler, with highs ranging from the mid 30s across
northern Wisconsin to near 50 in eastern Iowa. Look for high
temperatures to return to the 40s and 50s Sunday through Tuesday.
