Areas of dense fog were affecting the far eastern portion of
kansas overnight with visibilities below one-quarter mile.
Otherwise, skies were clear over the remainder of Kansas. Early
morning temperatures ranged from the teens in the northwest, to
the lower 30s in south central Kansas.

Dense fog will plague portions of far eastern Kansas and northwest
Missouri early this morning, where Dense Fog Advisories have been
posted. A warm front will lift slowly northward through the Kansas
region Today into Tonight, resulting in milder temperatures. An
increase in cloud cover will accompany the warm frontal passage.
In addition, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be
possible in Missouri, southeastern Kansas, and eastern Oklahoma.

Highs this afternoon will vary from the lower to middle 50s in
Nebraska and Iowa, to near 70 in southwest Kansas and western
Oklahoma. Low temperatures tonight will be in the 20s and 30s
over the higher elevations of the Central Plains, and in the 40s
and 50s over lower elevations.
