Rain chances will increase tonight as a strong upper-level storm
system approaches the Mid-South. Widespread showers and
thunderstorms are expected on Thursday and Thursday night, with a
few strong storms possible over northeast Mississippi. Dry weather
is expected on Friday, but rain chances return late Friday night
and continue through the weekend.

After a relatively cool Wednesday, with highs primarily in the
50s, warmer temperatures will return for a few days. Expect highs
mainly in the 60s on Thursday, possibly warming into the lower 70s
in some areas Friday and Saturday. Overnight low temperatures will
be mainly in the low to mid 50s, slightly warmer than normal
highs for late January.
