425 AM CDT FRI MAY 6 2016

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE MIDSOUTH WILL SLOWLY MOVE TO THE
SOUTHEAST AS THE UPPER LEVEL OMEGA BLOCKING PATTERN BEGINS SLOWLY
DEGRADE. AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL BUILD OVER THE AREA FOR THE
WEEKEND RESULTING IN DRY WEATHER AND WARMER TEMPERATURES. EXPECT
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 70S TODAY AND THE LOW 80S ON SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY.

RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS MOISTURE FROM THE
GULF SURGES INTO THE AREA AHEAD OF AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE. AN
UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN WILL EXIST FOR MUCH OF NEXT WEEK WITH
SEVERAL CHANCES OF RAIN AND STORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR
AVERAGE.
