...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA AND FAR
NORTHEAST TENNESSEE THROUGH MID-MORNING...

THE COMBINATION OF A MOSTLY CLEAR SKY...LIGHT WINDS...AND MOISTURE
FROM EARLIER RAINFALL WILL ALLOW PATCHY FOG TO DEVELOP ACROSS
NORTHEAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA EARLY THIS MORNING. SOME
OF THIS FOG MAY BE LOCALLY DENSE...WITH VISIBILITIES AT ONE
QUARTER MILE OR LESS. THE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE AREAS FOR DENSE FOG
WILL BE SHELTERED VALLEYS...AREAS NEAR LAKES AND RIVERS...AND
LOCATIONS THAT RECEIVED MEANINGFUL RAINFALL YESTERDAY.

THE FOG WILL LINGER THROUGH THE MORNING RUSH HOUR COMMUTE...BEFORE
DISSIPATING BY MID-MORNING. PLEASE USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING
IN THESE AREAS THIS MORNING. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO
REACH YOUR DESTINATION!
