TODAY...WINDS WILL INCREASE OUT OF THE WEST 2O TO 30
MPH...WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH. LIGHTWEIGHT AND HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS IF TRAVELING ACROSS THE
REGION. THE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN LATER THIS EVENING.

TODAY...WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE
ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT CODY FOOTHILLS...WITH WEST TO
SOUTHWEST WINDS 2O TO 30 MPH...WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH COMMON. A
FEW AREAS WHERE THE CROSSWIND WILL BE STRONGEST WILL BE...NEAR
CODY...IN THE VICINITY OF CLARK...AND NEAR THE JUNCTION OF CHIEF
JOSEPH HIGHWAY AND HIGHWAY 120 WHERE GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH MAY OCCUR.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS
IF TRAVELING THROUGH THESE AREAS TODAY.
