...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       Low.

Ultraviolet Index:     High. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Seek
                       shade during the midday hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Weather:               Partly cloudy. Isolated showers, thunderstorms.
                       Chance of rain 20 percent.

Temperatures:          Middle 80s.

Wind:                  Light and variable becoming North 15 to 20 mph.

Wave Heights:          3 to 5 feet.

Surf Temperature:      79 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       81 degrees.

Tides:                 A low at 10 45 am. A high at 7 41 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk for rip currents is
                       possible through Wednesday and again
                       Friday into Saturday from the result
                       of elevated waves and swell behind a
                       cold front. High temperatures are to
                       trend in the upper 70s to the middle
                       80s this week featuring mostly sunny
