TODAY`S WEATHER MAP WILL SHOWCASE A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
CROSSING THE REGION...WITH A CHANCE FOR ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL
PRIMARILY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...AND ON INTO
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA. THERE IS ALSO GOING
TO BE AN ABRUPT END TO TEMPERATURES AT OR ABOVE NORMAL TODAY...AS
ARCTIC COLD AIR BEHIND THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM SURGES
SOUTHEASTWARD OVER THE REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT. THIS LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM WILL ALSO STIR UP NORTHWEST WINDS TODAY INTO TONIGHT TO THE
TUNE OF 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH IN SOME LOCATIONS.
AND...WHERE FALLING SNOW COMBINES WITH STRONG WINDS...TRAVEL
CONDITIONS COULD BECOME HAZARDOUS AT TIMES.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL PEAK IN THE UPPER 20S TO AROUND 40
DEGREES. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DIP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS
ABOVE TO TEENS ABOVE ZERO.
