This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Marginally hot weather is anticipated Tuesday across the region.
Heat index values will top out in the 95 to 100 degree range later
this afternoon. Air quality will also be compromised due to the warm

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Excessive heat will build into the region starting Wednesday and will
last through Saturday in most locations. Heat index values
approaching 110 degrees are expected through the early weekend. Areas
north of HWY 36 may see marginally improved conditions with isolated
to scattered thunderstorms in the area, but that area should still be
prepared for excessive heat through Saturday. Air quality will be
marginalized due to high heat Wednesday through Saturday.
