This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Scattered thunderstorms will persist through mid morning across
northwest and north central Missouri. Local ponding of water possible
on some roads, but no severe weather is anticipated at this time.

Heat indices will rise into the 103 to 108 degree range today. It
will also begin a stretch of 4 days with heat indices approaching 105
to 110 degrees, and with overnight lows only dipping into the upper

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

 Heat indices will max out around 110 degrees Thursday and Friday,
with another day approaching 105 degree heat indices on Saturday.
Overnight lows will only drop into the upper 70s, providing little
relief from the oppressive heat.

Next chance for thunderstorms comes Sunday into Monday. Severe
weather is not expected with this activity at this time.
