This mix of rain and high elevation snow will continue today across
mainly Montana. Precipitation amounts will approach 0.75 inches in
the montains. Elsewhere, isolated showers are possible across Kansas
and Nebraska. A better chance for rain will move into Nebraska, Iowa
and surrounding areas for Friday and Saturday.

At the moment flooding is occurring on the Blackwater River near Blue
Lick, MO and on the Marmaton River near Nevada, MO. Due to past
rainfall and the slow response of the James River, flooding is still
expected near Columbia and Stratford, South Dakota in the coming weeks.
