.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...Current model data show a trough
lingering near the Samoan islands through early Friday morning.
This provide showers with thunderstorms likely across the forecast
area. Models suggest a surface ridge building South of the island
chain Friday night through the weekend. Hence, expect moderate to
fresh easterlies to return by at least Friday.

Additionally, an uptick in showers and clouds are seen moving
across the territory Saturday night as moisture from a dissipating trough
far East are caught within the easterly flow.

.Long term...
SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...Latest model data show the bulk of
moisture moving across the islands being pushed westward Sunday
night by the building aforementioned ridge. This ridge will
