THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA...
  SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 600 AM CDT

* AT 500 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE LINGERING RAIN
  AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS FRANKLIN AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES
  THAT WILL RESULT IN A CONTINUATION OF FLOODING ACROSS THE REGION.
  BETWEEN THREE AND FIVE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN...WITH
  AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN POSSIBLE BEFORE PRECIPITATION COMES TO
  AN END.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  RUSSELLVILLE...MOULTON...RED BAY...PHIL CAMPBELL...BELGREEN...
  VINA...HODGES...MT HOPE...DEMPSEY AND ISBELL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO
HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
