THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

ISOLATED...VERY HIT-AND-MISS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS POSSIBLE
ALMOST ANYWHERE IN THE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGH THIS EVENING...WITH
PERHAPS A BIT MORE COVERAGE OF STORMS LATE TONIGHT MAINLY WITHIN
COUNTIES WEST OF THE HIGHWAY 281 CORRIDOR. ALTHOUGH A STRONG STORM
OR TWO CANNOT BE COMPLETELY RULED OUT TONIGHT MAINLY WITHIN
WESTERN COUNTIES...NO SEVERE STORMS ARE CURRENTLY ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THERE ARE INTERMITTENT THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WITHIN ALL...OR AT
LEAST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGHOUT MOST OF THE SATURDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY TIME FRAME. ALTHOUGH NO DAYS OR NIGHTS CURRENTLY
APPEAR TO FEATURE A RISK FOR WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS...IT IS NOT
OUT OF THE QUESTION THAT A FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE STORMS
COULD AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE AREA AS EARLY AS SATURDAY AFTERNOON
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT.

EACH AFTERNOON FROM SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...PEAK HEAT INDEX
VALUES COULD REACH OR SLIGHTLY EXCEED 100 DEGREES IN PORTIONS OF
THE OUTLOOK AREA. ON SUNDAY...VALUES THIS HIGH ARE ONLY EXPECTED
IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. HOWEVER...FROM MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
THE HEAT INDEX WILL LIKELY REACH 100 IN PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA AS WELL. THE OVERALL-HOTTEST DAY COULD BE MONDAY...WHEN
PARTS OF THE AREA COULD EVEN SEE THE HEAT INDEX REACH 105.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED THROUGH TONIGHT.
