At 102 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm 12 miles
southeast of Poydras, or 18 miles east of Belle Chasse, moving west
at 5 mph. Brief periods of heavy rainfall, occasional lightning
strikes, gusty winds up to 20 miles an hour will accompany this
storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Lower
Plaquemines...south central Upper St. Bernard...southwestern Lower
St. Bernard and east central Upper Plaquemines Parishes.
