At 720 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a large cluster of
thunderstorms near Independence, or near Amite, moving west at 25

Gusty winds 20 to 30 mph, brief torrential rainfall and frequent
lightning can be expected from these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Denham Springs, Amite, Walker, Amite City, Livingston, Independence,
Montpelier, Pride, Watson, Greenwell Spring, Natalbany and Tickfaw.
