PERSIST ACROSS THE NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE EXTENDING INTO THE NORTHERN ROLLING PLAINS. SOME OF THE
HEAVIER RAIN STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF RAINFALL RATES OVER ONE
INCH PER HOUR. PONDING OF LOW LYING AREAS IS LIKELY ESPECIALLY IN
RURAL AREAS BETWEEN PLAINVIEW AND MULESHOE. IN ADDITION...ANOTHER
AREA OF RAINFALL IS APPROACHING THE SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH PLAINS FROM
NEW MEXICO.
