OVER THE METRO AREAS, WHILE THEY INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY OVER THE EVERGLADES. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO
PERSIST OVER THE ATLANTIC WATERS BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND
GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE
NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH AND PRODUCE OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING, GUSTY WINDS
AND ROUGH SEAS.

THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON, SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE
IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OVER INTERIOR SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA. STORMS WILL INITIALLY FOCUS OVER EASTERN HENDRY AND
GLADES COUNTY TO CLEWISTON, MOORE HAVEN AND LAKEPORT, THEN SPREAD
WEST OVER THE EVERGLADES AND BIG CYPRESS AREAS. STRONG WIND GUSTS
TO 50 MPH, FREQUENT LIGHTNING, TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND SMALL HAIL
ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
