...Elevated water levels on the Lower San Joaquin River...


.Storm systems will bring periods of rainfall on the Lower San
Joaquin System through the end of the week. This will bring continued
elevated water levels.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Michigan Bar 01/18 13:30 stage 5.8 ft
 forecast to rise above monitor stage of 7.0 ft then forecast to rise
to near  9.0 ft late tomorrow morning then forecast to fluctuate near
8.5 ft thru tomorrow afternoon.
 Monitor stage 7.0 ft, Flood stage 12.0 ft
Impact for Michigan Bar...Near 8.0 feet, Low lying lands along the
river begin to flood.
