Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Showers and storms were occurring across portions of western
Wisconsin into Minnesota and Iowa this morning. This activity was
occurring ahead of a weak cold front that extended from northwest
Minnesota into western Iowa. Temperatures this morning across the
region ranged from the 50s across northern Minnesota to the 70s
for southern Iowa.

The showers and storms will continue to advance northeast and
should move out of the region by early afternoon. Once the storms
move through, look for skies to become partly to mostly sunny
during the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to be in the
70s and 80s.

Another round of showers and storms is expected to develop across
Nebraska and Kansas this evening. These showers and storms should
then spread northeast across Iowa into portions of Minnesota and
Wisconsin overnight. Low temperatures should be in the 50s and
60s.
