Tuesday night was a night of severe thunderstorms especially along
and north of Interstate 80. We will likely again see at least
scattered potentially severe thunderstorms tonight...although the
highest concentration of these storms tonight will likely be south
of Interstate 80 and later...after 10 pm for the most part. As for
today...it will be dry and hot for most areas with highs ranging
from around 90 over south central Nebraska to the lower and mid 90s
over north central Kansas. We do expect slight cooler temperatures
as we head into Thursday and especially into Friday and Saturday
when highs will be in the lower 80s over south central Nebraska to
the mid 80s over north central Kansas. The threat for strong to
severe thunderstorms will again be present on Thursday...but dry
weather is expected for Friday and Saturday.
