WEATHER SUMMARY FOR PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE
522 PM CDT SUN MAY 24 2015

CLOUDY SKIES WILL ACCOMPANY CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TONIGHT...ALONG WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE 50S. CLOUDY SKIES WILL
START THE DAY TOMORROW...BUT SOME BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS SHOULD BE
NOTED BY MONDAY AFTERNOON. ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT APPEAR AS THOUGH
MEMORIAL DAY WILL BE A RAINOUT...KEEP IN MIND THAT A 30 TO 40
PERCENT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DOES REMAIN IN THE
FORECAST ACROSS THE AREA. IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT A FEW OF
THE STORMS MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY EVENING COULD BE STRONG TO
POTENTIALLY SEVERE...WITH HAIL PERHAPS APPROACHING THE SIZE OF
QUARTERS AND THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH BEING POSSIBLE WITH
THE STRONGEST STORMS. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURE READINGS ON MONDAY ARE
EXPECTED TO CLIMB INTO THE 70S THROUGH MOST LOCATIONS.
