Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The Central High Plains observed mostly clear condition overnight.
Early this morning cloud cover was rolling in over the southwestern
portion of the region. At 4 AM MDT (5 AM CDT) temperatures were
ranging from 53 degrees in Flagler, Colorado to 58 degrees in
Hill City, Kansas.

OUTLOOK... Mostly sunny conditions are expected over most of the
region today. With the exception of an area along and west of the
Colorado/Kansas border, which will see partly to mostly cloudy skies
with a slight chance of daytime showers and thunderstorms.
Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the middle 80s up to around
90. Later this afternoon and into the evening the region will see
a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms
