A VARIETY OF WEATHER WAS OBSERVED ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING
WITH MANY LOCATIONS EXPERIENCING FOG...DRIZZLE AND LOW CLOUDS.
THUNDERSTORMS MOVED SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS TRENTON...MCCOOK...OBERLIN...AND
NORTON AREA BEFORE DIMINISHING AROUND MID DAY. AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY
FROM THESE STORMS MOVED SOUTHWESTWARD THROUGH THE AREA BRINGING
GUST NORTHEAST WINDS. AS OF EARLY AFTERNOON CLOUDS LINGER ACROSS
THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE TRI STATE REGION...GENERALLY EAST OF
HIGHWAY 25. THIS HAS HELD TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S. FURTHER WEST
WHERE CLEAR SKIES AND SUNNY CONDITIONS EXIST...TEMPERATURES HAVE
WARMED INTO THE 80S.

OUTLOOK... THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS UNLIKELY THIS EVENING AND
DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PREVAIL OVERNIGHT WITH MOSTLY CLEAR
SKIES. SOUTHEAST WINDS AT 15 TO 25 MPH EARLY THIS EVENING SHOULD
DECREASE BY MID TO LATE EVENING TO AROUND 10 TO 15 MPH OVERNIGHT.
LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO
THE LOW 70S IN CENTRAL KANSAS. WARMER TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR
TOMORROW. MANY LOCATIONS WILL REACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES FOR HIGH
TEMPERATURES DURING THE AFTERNOON. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS LATE TOMORROW AND AGAIN LATE FRIDAY AS WEAK UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVE THROUGH. A COOLING TREND IS ANTICIPATED
THIS WEEKEND.
