Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Sunny skies influence the Central High Plains early this afternoon.
At 1 pm MDT (2 pm CDT), winds were out of the southwest at 10 to 15
mph with temperatures ranging from 82 degrees in Flagler, Colorado
to 77 degrees in Norton, Kansas.

OUTLOOK... The warm and dry conditions continues this afternoon.
Afternoon high temperatures will climb well above normal into the
lower to middle 80s. Winds will increase out of the south as we head
through the afternoon with wind speeds around 15 to 20 mph and gusts
to near 25 mph.

A weak cold front will push through the region tonight with no
precipitation expected. Lows will fall into the upper 30s to middle
