Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Light winds were observed overnight with temperatures falling into
the middle to upper 20s.

OUTLOOK... Partly sunny skies will prevail this morning with
gradually clearing skies as the day progresses. High temperatures
will reach the lower 40s to lower 50s from west to east. Winds
will be northwesterly at 10 to 15 mph this morning and will
increase through the day becoming breezy this afternoon at 20 to
30 mph. Winds will subside and shift this evening becoming
westerly and eventually southerly at 5 to 10 mph. Monday will
bring much warmer temperatures in the 50s to near 60 degrees. Lows
Monday night will fall into the upper 20s. A cold front moves
through the region Tuesday bringing sharply cooler temperatures to
the Tri State area. Temperatures will reach the middle 30s to
lower 40s and will fall through the afternoon. A chance of rain
and snow is in the forecast through the day. Lows will fall into
the upper teens to lower 20s Tuesday night. A few lingering snow
showers will move out of the region Wednesday morning. Highs on
Wednesday will only reach the lower 30s.
