Arctic high pressure will begin to shift east today which will
provide a gradual warming trend to occur over the weekend. Highs
will return to the mid 40s to mid 50s by Sunday.

Rain chances will begin to occur on Sunday ahead of an
approaching cold front. The chances for rain will continue through
Monday. In addition, a few thunderstorms could occur along the
front Sunday Night.

Not much of a cool down is expected behind the front as
highs will remain in the mid 40s to mid 50s. However, a
reinforcing cold front will move into the Mid-South on Wednesday.
Arctic air will return to the area behind this front with highs
ranging from lower 30s to lower 40s on Thursday. Small rain
chances will occur ahead of the front on Wednesday over mainly
North Mississippi.
