THE RAINFALL AT FAIRBANKS AIRPORT TUESDAY WAS 0.11 INCH. AN
ADDITIONAL 0.03 INCH FELL OVERNIGHT...BRINGING THE AUGUST TOTAL
TO 2.20 INCHES AND THE JUNE THROUGH AUGUST TOTAL TO 11.54 INCHES.

THE RECORD HIGH SUMMER RAINFALL AMOUNT IS 11.59 INCHES WHICH
OCCURRED IN 1930. THERE IS A GOOD LIKELIHOOD OF SOME MORE
RAIN BEFORE THE MONTH ENDS.
