Including Fairbanks, Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Ester,
North Pole, Moose Creek, Two Rivers, Fox, Chatanika,
Chena Hot Springs, and Sourdough Camp

Strong thunderstorms are expected to move through the Tanana
Valley through 8 pm. The main threats from the strongest storms
will be nickel sized hail, winds gusting to 50 mph and lightning
strikes. Residents with outdoor plans this evening are urged to
watch for rapidly changing weather conditions and seek shelter
when thunderstorms approach.
