National Weather Service Duluth MN
514 AM CST Sun Feb 26 2017

Including the cities of Washburn, Bayfield, Ashland, and Hurley
514 AM CST Sun Feb 26 2017

At 514 AM, an area of light to moderate snow, with pockets of
heavy snow, was located over northern portions of Bayfield,
Ashland, and Iron Counties. The area of snow will continue to
advance eastward and move out of northwest Wisconsin by 8 AM.

Locations affected by the snow include Bayfield, Washburn,
Ashland, Odanah, Marengo, Mason, Saxon, and Hurley.

Use caution if traveling this morning. Visibility of three-
quarters of a mile or less can be expected. Many area roads are
snow covered and slippery. Reduce your speed and allow extra
stopping distance at intersections and behind other vehicles.
Remember, it`s better to be going slow and wish you were going
faster, than go fast and wish you were going slower.
