...Cold air moving in will switch rain over to snow and bring
areas of possible flash freeze this morning...

Cold front will work into Humboldt county this early morning and
will slide southeast through Friday mid morning. Expect rain
showers to transition over to snow as the cold air funnels in.
Snow amounts will be light with generally less than an inch
expected. Temperatures should quickly drop below freezing in the
wake of the passing front, which could lead to areas of flash
freeze or black ice on roadways and sidewalks early Friday
morning. In addition, gusty southwest to northwest winds are
expected to continue through Friday.

Motorists should remain alert to rapidly changing weather and
Road conditions due to the elevation dependence of this storm.
