AUSTIN...AUSTIN SUMMIT...EUREKA...DIAMOND VALLEY...PINTO SUMMIT

...AN AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL FALL OVER
PORTIONS OF EUREKA COUNTY...

A BAND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW IS CURRENTLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN EUREKA COUNTY. WEATHER SPOTTERS IN THE EUREKA AND DIAMOND
VALLEY AREAS ARE REPORTING MODERATE SNOW IN THESE LOCATIONS. THE
SNOW IS STICKING TO THE ROADS...MAKING FOR SLUSHY AND SLIPPERY
CONDITIONS. THE MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO LAST FOR THE NEXT
THIRTY MINUTES TO AN HOUR BEFORE DIMINISHING TO LIGHT SNOW
SHOWERS. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO OF ACCUMULATION CAN BE
EXPECTED.

MOTORISTS SHOULD PLAN FOR REDUCED VISIBILITIES OF ONE MILE OR
LESS ALONG WITH SLUSH-COVERED ROADS. IF TRAVELING...PLEASE USE
CAUTION ESPECIALLY IN THE TOWN OF EUREKA...AS WELL AS US HIGHWAY
50 AND STATE HIGHWAY 278 IN EUREKA COUNTY. THESE ROADS WILL BE
SLUSHY AND SLIPPERY.
