WARREN...NORTHWESTERN HALIFAX AND NORTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES UNTIL
630 AM EST...

At 533 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles south of Boydton
to near Henderson to Creedmoor. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Roanoke Rapids, Henderson, Warrenton, Norlina, Littleton, Kittrell,
Middleburg, Macon, Medoc Mountain State Park and Gillburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
50 mph are capable of knocking down small or weakened trees and
blowing around outdoor objects.

Doppler radar has indicated weak rotation with this storm. If the
storm intensifies and rotation strengthens, a warning may need to be
issued.
