THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE DAKOTAS SATURDAY...AND
CONTINUE ON INTO WESTERN MINNESOTA SATURDAY NIGHT. INITIALLY SNOW
WILL BE LIGHT WITH LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF THE MISSOURI VALLEY
SEEING A MIX OF PRECIPITATION...INCLUDING FREEZING RAIN. AS THE
SYSTEM EVOLVES...MOST AREAS WILL TRANSITION TO MODERATE TO HEAVY
SNOW. THE STORM SYSTEM MOVES OUT OF THE AREA DURING THE DAY
SUNDAY. THE CURRENT TOTAL SNOWFALL FORECAST COULD TOP 6 INCHES
FOR NORTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA...WITH CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA TOTALS CLOSER TO 1 TO 4 INCHES.
