...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GRIMES AND
SOUTHWESTERN WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 858 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 8 miles east of Bedias, or 14 miles southeast of
Madisonville, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Huntsville and Crabbs Prairie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southeastern Texas.
