.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE LATER
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...IN RESPONSE TO AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH
ADVANCING INTO THE REGION FROM THE WEST. A FEW STRONG STRONGS WILL
BE POSSIBLE DURING THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON. HOWEVER...NO
ORGANIZED HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD ON SATURDAY
AS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO SENDS
ADDITIONAL MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE REGION. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
BE POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS. HOWEVER...AS WIND SHEAR REMAINS
WEAK...NO ORGANIZED HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

ACTIVATION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL...AMATEUR RADIO
