Sacramento Mountains Above 7500 Feet-
East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet-Otero Mesa-
Including the cities of Mescalero, Timberon, Mountain Park,
Cloudcroft, Sunspot, Apache Summit, Mayhill, Pinon, Sacramento,
and Crow Flats

At 405 AM MDT...showers and thunderstorms continued over far
southeastern Otero county as new storms begin to move over and
develop over the Southern Sacramento mountains. The storms over
the southern portions of the are beginning to weaken and move east
out of the area. Meanwhile the storms over the Sacramento
mountains remain strong and other are developing. The strongest
storms are north of Timberon and near Mayhill. Expect a lot of
deadly lightning, gusty winds to 40 mph, small hail, and strong
rain with possible local flooding.
