AT 6:20 PM MDT, ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING OVER
PORTIONS OF THE LAS CRUCES AREA, MAINLY EAST OF INTERSTATE 10,
BUT ALSO OVER THE NMSU CAMPUS. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE AFFECTING
PARTS OF THE TULAROSA BASIN, BUT AWAY FROM THE HIGHWAYS. OUTFLOW
FROM THE STORMS OVER THE TULAROSA BASIN WILL PUSH INTO THE ORGAN
MOUNTAINS IN THE NEXT HALF HOUR, AND MAY LEAD TO MORE THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT.

LOCALIZED TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT WITH THESE
STORMS.
