...2nd Driest November on Record at the Charleston International

November 2016 breaks the record for the 2nd driest November at the
Charleston International Airport. Only 0.11 inches of rain fell,
which is 2.32 inches below the normal November average of 2.43

November rainfall totals were pretty meager at our other climate
locations as well, with only 0.24 inches in Downtown Charleston
and 0.20 inches at the Savannah International Airport. However,
neither site was able to crack a top 5 driest November record.

Precipitation records date back to 1938 at the
Charleston International Airport (CHS); 1871 at the Savannah
International Airport (SAV); and 1870 in Downtown Charleston
