Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1014 AM CDT Thu Jun 22 2017

A warm front lifted northward into eastern Minnesota and western
Wisconsin overnight and brought showers and thunderstorms into
much of the region. Low temperatures ranged from the lower 50s
across northern Minnesota...to the lower to middle 70s across
southern Iowa.

Showers and thunderstorms prevailed across parts of the area this
morning. Temperatures were in the upper 60s to middle 70s. A cold
front is expected to push slowly into southern Wisconsin and
central Iowa this afternoon and allow for periodic showers and
thunderstorms across the region through this evening. Some of the
thunderstorms may be severe with large hail...damaging winds and
heavy downpours. High temperatures will rise into the middle 70s
to middle 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue over parts of northeast
Iowa and southwest Wisconsin tonight...as the cold front tracks
into northern Missouri and central Illinois. Low temperatures are
expected to fall into the middle 50s to lower 60s.
