OVERALL A FAIRLY PLEASANT INDEPENDENCE DAY IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
HEARTLAND. TEMPERATURES WILL BE JUST A FEW DEGREES BELOW NORMAL WITH
HIGHS RANGING FROM THE MID 80S TO NEAR 90. WINDS SHOULD BE OUT OF
THE SOUTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THERE IS A SLIGHT
CHANCE FOR LATE AFTERNOON AND NIGHT TIME THUNDERSTORMS. A FEW OF
THESE COULD BE ON THE STRONG TO SEVERE SIDE...ESPECIALLY WEST OF AN
ORD TO KEARNEY LINE.
