AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IN NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT WILL BRING
CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MID SOUTH TODAY.
TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REMAIN BELOW SEASONAL AVERAGES...RANGING
FROM THE MIDDLE 70S TO LOWER 80S.

UPPER LEVEL RIDGING WILL BUILD IN FROM THE WEST ON FRIDAY AND
PERSIST THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL BRING A
RETURN TO DRY AND WARMER WEATHER THROUGH SATURDAY.

ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE MID SOUTH ON SUNDAY WITH ADDITIONAL CHANCES FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. ANY LINGERING STORM ACTIVITY SHOULD END
BY MONDAY ACROSS SOUTHERN AREAS.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD BEHIND THE FRONT WITH DRY WEATHER AND
COOLER TEMPERATURES FOR THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK.
