POLAR HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE BADGERLAND
TONIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY...KEEPING TEMPERATURES COLD ACROSS THE
STATE DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

LOW PRESSURE MOVING ACROSS ONTARIO CANADA WILL THEN BRING SOUTHWEST
WINDS AND MILDER TEMPERATURES FOR SATURDAY...ESPECIALLY OVER
SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL THEN MOVE INTO THE
REGION FROM THE SOUTHWEST SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY...WHICH WILL
BRING LIKELY SNOW TO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. CURRENT FORECAST SNOW
AMOUNTS ARE BETWEEN 2 AND 6 INCHES...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS ALONG THE
LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE SOUTH OF MILWAUKEE DUE TO NORTHEASTERLY WINDS
COMING OFF THE LAKE. AMOUNTS IN THIS AREA WILL REACH NEAR 8 INCHES.
A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT SUNDAY TO 2 AM
MONDAY IN FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. THE SNOW WILL LAST THROUGH THE
DAY SUNDAY INTO EARLY MONDAY.
