Aroostook County...

At 142 PM EST...Heavy snow showers with gusty winds were near the
Woodland and Perham area moving east at 30 mph.

locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Eagle Lake,
Portage, Mapleton, Washburn, Mars Hill, Ashland, Easton, Woodland,
Portage Lake, Nashville Plantation, Loring, Madawaska Lake, Blaine,
New Sweden, Westfield and Chapman.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 1 between Westfield and Caribou.
 State Highway 11 between Portage and Eagle Lake.

  * Winds in excess of 35 mph are possible with these heavy snow
  showers.

  * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
