TIPTON AREAS...

AT 806 AM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES NORTH OF WEST BRANCH TO WILTON...AND MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH AND HALF INCH HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS.

TIPTON...DURANT...MECHANICSVILLE...STANWOOD...WILTON...LOWDEN...WHEATLAND...
OLIN...CALAMUS...BENNETT...TORONTO...MORLEY...ROCHESTER...BUCHANAN...
CLARENCE...DIXON...NEW LIBERTY...CEDAR COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS...MOSCOW AND
BENNETT PARK.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 80 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 258 AND 282.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
CAUSE LOCALIZED PONDING OF WATER.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
