...Patchy Black Ice Possible this Morning...

Refreezing of melted snow on area roadways last night, has resulted
in patchy areas of ice. While most primary roads in the Tennessee
Valley remain dry, isolated slick spots do exist on secondary and
rural roads, as well as on some bridges and overpasses. This black
ice is difficult to detect, and can cause hazardous travel
conditions.

If traveling during the morning commute, slow down and use extra
caution. Dress warmly and have a winter travel kit in your vehicle.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, or a favorite local media outlet,
for further statements or updates from the National Weather Service
in Huntsville.
