...Black Ice Likely Tonight...

Wintry precipitation is expected to end across the region late
this evening. The combination of wet roads and sub freezing
temperatures will be favorable for the development of black ice.
Reports of icing on area bridges and overpasses have already been
received. Black ice is difficult to see on roads (especially at
night) and thus can make driving hazardous. Avoid unnecessary
driving. If you must drive, use extreme caution. Do not drive
around road barricades. Road conditions will begin to improve
during the early afternoon Wednesday.
