THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR APACHE...COCONINO...
NORTHERN GILA...NAVAJO...AND YAVAPAI COUNTIES IN NORTHERN
ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ON SUNDAY...THE COLDEST AIR SO FAR THIS SEASON IS EXPECTED TO
ARRIVE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT. A FEW
HOURS OF LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED WITH FRONTAL
PASSAGE. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AROUND 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER
PORTIONS OF THE BLACK MESA AND CHUSKA MOUNTAINS...ELSEWHERE A FEW
TENTHS OF AN INCH UP TO 1 INCH. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL TO
AROUND 5500 FEET. TRAVEL ON I-40 COULD BE IMPACTED DUE TO SLICK
ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITIES SUNDAY MORNING. HIGH TEMPERATURES
SUNDAY WILL RANGE FROM 10-15 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE ALONG AND
NORTHEAST OF THE MOGOLLON RIM AND KAIBAB PLATEAU. NORTH TO
NORTHEAST WINDS GUSTING TO NEAR 35 MPH WILL PRODUCE DAYTIME WIND
CHILL TEMPERATURES IN THE 20S AND 30S. TIMING OF THE FRONT...BETWEEN
12 AM AND 1 AM MST NEAR THE ARIZONA UTAH BORDER...I-40 CORRIDOR
BETWEEN 2 AM TO 4 AM MST...SOUTHERN YAVAPAI AND WHITE MOUNTAINS
BETWEEN 4 AM TO 6 AM MST.

WELL BELOW AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST MONDAY AND
TUESDAY MORNINGS.
