.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...Active trough about 240 miles
northeast of Tutuila is slowly approaching the territory. Heavy
showers and strong winds will move across Manua late tonight
before reaching Tutuila on Thursday morning. RAOB from this
afternoon on the other hand depicted a stable and dry profile. The
aforemention trough will remain over the islands through Friday
before moving southwest on Friday night. A surface to midlevel
ridge to the east will introduce stable weather and diminish
showers to isolated on Friday night. Gusty and strong winds
embedded within the trough will also diminish on Friday night as
the weather feature moves southwest.

.Long term...
SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Surface ridge will remain over the
islands through midweek. Isolated showers and breezy east winds
will persist through the rest of the long term.


Seas of 5 to 7 ft will persist tonight before elevating 6 to 8 ft
on early Thursday morning. With the active trough moving across
the islands, seas will rise 8 to 10 ft on Thursday afternoon
through Friday afternoon. Seas will subside 6 to 8 ft on Friday
night and remains through the beginning of the new week.
