TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...SATELLITE IMAGERIES SHOW AN ACTIVE
TROUGH ORIENTED NORTH TO NORTHEAST OF THE ISLANDS. RAOB FROM THIS
AFTERNOON DEPICTS A STABLE PROFILE. MODELS SUGGEST UNSTABLE
WEATHER TO REMAIN OVER THE ISLANDS DURING THE SHORT TERM. THE
ACTIVE TROUGH WILL REMAIN TO THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST. A LOW LEVEL
CONVERGENCE WILL PASS ACROSS THE ISLANDS ON SATURDAY
NIGHT...BRINGING SCATTERED SHOWERS THROUGH SUNDAY. THE ACTIVE
TROUGH IS THEN EXPECTED TO DESCEND OVER THE ISLANDS ON SUNDAY
NIGHT. THEREFORE...BREEZY TRADES WILL PERSIST WHILE ISOLATED
SHOWERS IS TRANSFORMED TO SCATTERED AND NUMEROUS...PROGRESSING
THROUGH THE SHORT TERM ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY NIGHT.

.LONG TERM...
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...THE ACTIVE TROUGH WILL SLOWLY MOVE SOUTH
AND SOUTHWEST. A RIDGE BUILDING FROM THE NORTHEAST WILL HELP FORCE
THE ACTIVE TROUGH TO THE SOUTH ON WEDNESDAY. TRADES WILL DIMINISH
TO GENTLE EAST WINDS ON WEDNESDAY.THEREFORE...WET WEATHER WILL
STABILIZE ON WEDNESDAY WHILE TRADES DIMINISH GENTLE EAST WINDS
DURING MIDWEEK.

HAZARDOUS SEAS OF 9 TO 12 FT WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT COASTAL
WATERS AND SHORELINES TONIGHT. SEAS WILL RISE 12 TO 14 FT ON
SATURDAY MORNING AND PERSIST THROUGH TUESDAY. ROUGH SEAS WILL FALL
BELOW ADVISORY THRESHOLD ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
