.TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED TSTMS WILL DISSIPATE THURSDAY. A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDS
OVER SAVAII SOUTHEASTWARD...AND THIS SITUATION WILL BRING INCREASING
MOISTURE AND WIDESPREAD SHOWERS ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT. BEHIND
THIS TROUGH IS A BROAD AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE THAT WILL USHER
GENTLE TO MODERATE TRADES THURSDAY MORNING. EVENTUALLY...LOCAL
WIND SPEEDS WILL CLIMB TO 15 TO 20 KT FRIDAY. AS A RESULT...ANTICIPATE
DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS TO PERSIST AFTER THURSDAY NIGHT.

.LONG TERM...
.SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...FRESH EASTERLIES WILL PROVIDE DRY WEATHER
CONDITIONS AND ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL
DAYS. A SURFACE RIDGE WILL REMAIN A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES SOUTH OF
THE REGION THUS ONLY ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL MOVE PAST SOUTH OF THE
COASTAL WATERS.

.MARINE...LARGE TRADE-WIND GENERATED SEAS AND SWELLS WILL MOVE
PAST AMERICAN SAMOA THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WHILE SEA HEIGHTS WILL
REMAIN NEAR MODERATE LEVELS WEST OF TUTUILA UNTIL SATURDAY. FOR
NOW...ANTICIPATE HAZARDOUS SEAS OF 7 TO 9 FT TO SUBSIDE TO 5 TO 7 FT
FRIDAY. HENCE...ADVISORIES FOR HIGH SURFS AND SMALL CRAFTS WILL
REMAIN IN EFFECT TO REFLECT THIS SITUATION.
