Flood Advisory
National Weather Service Albuquerque NM
556 PM MDT SAT JUN 24 2017

Sandoval-Santa Fe-
556 PM MDT SAT JUN 24 2017

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
East central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...
West central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 800 PM MDT.

* At 554 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms near Santo Domingo and Cochiti Pueblos. One to two
inches of rain can be expected with these storms in the span of
one and one half hours. This will cause arroyo and small stream
  flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Santo Domingo Pueblo, La Cienega, Kewa Pueblo, Cochiti Pueblo, La
Bajada, Cochiti Lake, Domingo and Pena Blanca.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

The heavy rainfall and slow movement of these storms may result in
flooding of road intersections and low lying areas. Waters may begin
to run in normally dry arroyos.
