.NOW...

A band of showers and scattered lightning storms ahead of a cold
front will affect areas along the Interstate 4 corridor including
Lake county...metro Orlando and Volusia county into early afternoon.
Stronger storms may produce locally heavy rainfall amounts to around
an inch...gusty winds up to 40 to 50 mph and cloud to ground
lightning strikes. Into mid afternoon scattered to numerous showers
and some storms will move into Osceola and Brevard counties with
scattered showers and storms affecting Okeechobee county and the
Treasure coast by late afternoon.

A moderate to fresh south to southwest breeze will produce poor to
hazardous boating conditions over the waters today. A Small Craft
Advisory is in effect for the offshore waters...and small craft
should exercise caution nearshore.
