...Snow melt and runoff creating increasing flows on local rivers...

Warm temperatures the past several days have resulted in increased
snow melt and runoff into local streams and rivers. The Snake River
at Blackfoot is at bankfull. Despite reduced runoff due to cooler
temperatures through the weekend, especially at night, the river is
expected to remain at bankfull through the weekend.

Many area creeks and streams are flowing high, cold, and fast.
It is that time of year when we need to keep a close watch on
children and pets. Slippery ground near the water can lead to
tragic accidents.
